Our Suzuki Method of teaching violin, allows your child to build confidence, and puts the emphasis on building your child’s entire character through music.

We provide supportive and caring instruction for each child as an individual. Our methods include fun, interactive sessions, both one on one and in groups. Our focus is helping your child build confidence, develop their skills and engage them through their natural affinity to music.

Children’s lessons are available in person or virtually.

Edward will meet your child with a balance of the Suzuki method with flexibility, creativity, and adaptability. I want each child’s individual heart to be expressed through their music, in the way that speaks to them.

At Edward's Violin Studio, you'll find an approach that allows you to:

  • find just the right pace for you

  • quickly achieve a better technique

  • develop effective practice habits

  • play with a beautiful sound

  • create, explore and invent with your music

  • learn many different styles

For small children we use a variety of age-appropriate methods, including games, songs, rhymes, and body motions along with active parent participation. We want to help you understand each step and be able to reproduce it at home. The result is that children like to practice, and remain interested in the instrument for the long term.

When you associate positive feelings with music, you want to continue naturally!

Private lessons are scheduled weekly, beginning at 30 minutes. For intermediate and advanced students we also offer 45 and 60 minute lessons.

Lesson tuition includes biweekly group classes, a great way to stimulate learning, play with peers, and motivate your child.

What do we do about getting a violin? Violin rentals are provided directly to you, saving you the hassle of shopping for an instrument and then having your child quickly grow out of it. We also provide guidance in purchasing a violin and all related equipment.
