Students in underserved populations often do not have the resources to receive good quality instruction in music. In addition, violins are specialized crafted instruments with many accessories such as chin rests, shoulder rests, tuners, and spare strings.
Character, practice, love
Rhythms For Life utilizes the Suzuki method of violin is an internationally recognized method for teaching young children. Through character development, practice and enjoyment of playing, students can learn to love the violin for a lifetime!
We also provide opportunities for field trips (check out Black Violin here), concerts, and community building during the year, as well as service hours for high school student assistants.
Give a child the chance to succeed
Every child can learn to play the violin!
