Scholarship Support

Money should never be an obstacle for someone who wants to learn Suzuki.

To support a student for one year, which includes tuition for three trimesters of private and group instruction, all workshops, recitals and performances, and summer camp, as well as all administrative costs, piano accompaniment, and venue rental:

  • A 100% scholarship requires a contribution of $5,000

  • A 75% scholarship requires a contribution of $3,750

  • A 50% scholarship requires a contribution of $2,500

  • A 25% scholarship requires a contribution of $1,250

Student families applying for scholarship will be able to select which of these levels is appropriate for their needs, given availability of funding support.

We are also accepting smaller contributions to form a pool to support scholarships. Every amount helps. Please note that contributions are not tax deductible at this time.

Grassroots support

Small, local, family-sized, annually renewable gifts are more flexible, easier to obtain and less expensive to manage than traditional fundraising outlets. The administration and person-power required to access other sources of support (such as foundation grants, state programs, and the like) is prohibitive to most Suzuki music studios. Your local, ongoing support makes it possible for us to widen the reach of the incredible gift of Suzuki without having to incur additional expenses for writing grants or hiring grant writers.
